Rockin the 630
My name is Erica Antomez and my whole life I’ve been immersed in music. From acting in musicals to playing the clarinet at a young age, marching band to having my first radio show as a solo host, my dedication to music has never dwindled. Earning my Associates in Arts and a Music Tech certificate at Joliet Junior College to now being a proud student at Illinois Media School I only hope to continue a successful career in radio.
My name is Julian Saldierna and I’m a proud student of the Illinois Media School. Up until I enrolled at IMS, my future wasn’t clear and my family was worried I’d never find my calling. Before I became a student, I had some experience in photography, voice/stage acting and video editing. Now thanks to some very talented IMS instructors and staff, they’ve helped me hone my craft and have taught me brand new skills to succeed in the world of multimedia production and broadcasting. Ultimately, I’d love to work for myself as a freelance professional photographer and videographer, and maybe even become an instructor at IMS. Each day spent producing audio and visual art, is one day closer to securing that successful future in the industry and to give myself and family peace of mind.
